Leigh McIntosh, President & Executive Director of Creative Enterprises
Leigh McIntosh is the Dynamic President & Executive Director of Creative Enterprises. There are currently six facilities in Georgia.
The first step was taken in 1976 (Leigh has been there since 1976!) when Mental Health Services rented additional space and established a workshop using their existing staff. The facility was transformed into the Creative vision.
The Mission of Creative Enterprises is to assist individuals with disabilities and others with barriers to employment in maximizing their potential. They provide a wide spectrum of programs and services for persons with disabilities, and other employment barriers, that offer many opportunities to enjoy life and explore employment offerings while being fulfilled, challenged and encouraged to excel.
Leigh loves the beach and is an essential oil educator and enthusiast. She has four adult children, 2 of which share her passion for service and work in other leadership capacities, at Creative Enterprises. Leigh has a little doggie named Luna who has the heart of all staffers.
Carol LaBranche, Co-Founder and CEO of AboutFace-USA, Veteran support
Carol LaBranche is the Co-Founder and CEO of AboutFace-USA
AboutFace-USA is more than just an organization; it is a community initiative founded on the principle of peer-led support. They exist to serve as a first point of contact for veterans and their families, guiding them toward the necessary resources and support to understand and manage mental health challenges effectively. The goal is to help veterans improve their relationships, cope better with daily stresses, and positively alter the trajectory of their lives.
Carol and her husband & co-founder Joe just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January 2025.
Carol witnessed firsthand the complex challenges faced by veterans returning from service with her husband Joe (Vietnam War Veteran). Growing up in the era of the Vietnam War, they saw the nation’s conflicted response to returning service members—heroes taught to expect honor and respect but met instead with social shaming and hostility. This environment compounded the trauma many veterans experienced, leading to decades of silence and suffering.
Carol has a passion for community and sharing the lessons learned on her journey. She is the foster mom to a pup named London and she enjoys tomato soup!
She & Joe continue to raise awareness and support within the veteran community.
